Aquatic Fundamentals

Today in aquatic fundamentals we talked about boat safety.  We learned that there is a stand still boat and a giveaway boat.  This was all very new to me because I have never needed to learn about boat safety since I don't own a boat.  But today's class really opened my eyes on how people should be careful while driving a boat or jet ski.  Mr. O showed us a video of what to do if we are going head on with another boat or possibly T-bone another boat.  He also showed us a video of people on jet skis being obnoxious and how they could irritate other people by driving too close to their boat or making splashes and hitting other people with a lot of water.  Moral of the story be smart and careful when driving a boat because if you're not paying attention you could end up hurting yourself, friends, family, and others.  Have a great rest of your day!!

About Me

Hey guys my name is Alex Barth I am a sophomore at Slippery Rock University and I am 20 years old.  Some of my favorite hobbies I like to do outside of school are baseball, football, basketball, golf, and working out.  I try to workout at least 5 days a week.  Working out is something I have to do for myself because if not I will feel unproductive and lazy.  I have 6 people in my family, I have an older brother Kraig, a little sister Ashlee, an older sister Karlee, my mom Angela, and my dad Kraig.  I hope you guys learned a little bit about me and have a great day today!

My Day

Today I woke up got ready for class and made myself a nice healthy breakfast that consisted of 5 scrambled eggs and a protein shake.  Then I went to my first class from 8-8:50 and then my second class from 9-9:50.  After class I went to the ARC and worked out for an hour.  After my workout I made another protein shake and got a shower.  Next I started on some homework and did that for 2 hours so I had the rest of the day to relax and watch TV.
